Tree, Shrub & Hedge Planting

Autumn is the traditional time for tree, shrub & hedge planting. We are now able to lift Trees, Root-Balled Shrubs and Hawthorn from the field and we have a large selection available.

You will find the larger trees we have available in our catalogue, which you can download here. If there is anything you require that is not listed please give our friendly staff a call, and we should be able to help.

We still have a good selection of Pot-Grown Trees too. If you�re looking for something a little unusual, why not consider Halesia carolina (Snowdrop Tree) or Populus tremula Erecta (Fastigiate Aspen)?

As usual, we always have available a selection of Bark Mulches and Playbark. Mulching garden beds now will give better protection to sensitive plants from winter frosts. Mulching will also suppress the spring growth of weed seeds, which were shed during the summer.

We continue to stock our famous Screened Topsoil. Because of is free-flowing consistency, its easily workable in damp autumn and winter conditions. Ideal for topping-up and improving clay garden soil, filling raised beds and laying turf.

We now stock hardwood (Oak) Railway Sleepers. They look very attractive, don�t require any treatment and will last for many years.
